What it does

Built for job seekers who want fewer stale leads.

Recruiter.ai starts with the candidate profile first, then evaluates job postings against the actual resume instead of relying only on generic job-board keyword search.

Resume-first profile

Import DOCX or TXT resumes, paste resume text, or extract visible profile text from supported pages.

  • Candidate profile extraction
  • Skills and industry detection
  • Recommended job titles

Exact job matching

Results are individual job requisitions with source, company, location, posting date, match score, and direct apply link.

  • Specific job cards
  • Posting freshness
  • Direct application links

Match intelligence

Match scoring helps prioritize jobs. Ghost-job risk flags postings that may be stale, vague, reposted, or missing useful hiring signals.

  • Match percentage
  • Ghost-job risk score
  • Resume keyword guidance
Privacy model

Your resume stays local in the browser workflow.

The extension is designed around local parsing and user-controlled search. It does not require a resume upload server to build the candidate profile.

Local-first resume handling

Resume text is parsed inside Chrome. The workflow supports DOCX, TXT, pasted resume text, and current-tab extraction for visible profile text.

Transparent source code

The project is available on GitHub under the MIT license, so users can inspect the extension files before installing.
